There are 2 type of people that search on Google:

  1. The people using full sentences.
  2. The people using keywords.
  • car window decals
  • ghost hunting equipment
  • impact on debilitating health for elders
  • holidays of observance for city of Spokane garbage collection
  • orange county therapeutic health services
  • my access point is compatible with b & g. I’m starting to wonder about my network password. why would it work on the desktop but not the laptop after attempting to use the network password i get the following error
  • dvdr disk wont play in my dvds or computer why
  • why does a guinea pig squeak
  • hairstyles

The more people are familiar with the Internet the more they will use keywords. The "noobies", aka people significantly less familiar with the Internet, will use full sentences.

  1. Those are actual searches from real people, including the spelling mistakes.
  2. Don't ask question on how I got these1.
  3. Notice that all punctuation has been removed.
  4. Notice that everything has been transformed into lowercase.

1 I used to be involved in a project that tracked people's use of the Internet.
