Loud, Proud with a BigMa

Loud, Proud and Bigma Canon Ti2 Rebel with Bigma handheld. The Bigma is a Sigma 50-500mm lens. He is hand holding it at the 300mm setting. His shutter speed should at least 1/500s or everything will be very fuzzy.reifel-20120421-6170.jpg — ©2012 Syv Ritch -- foto-biz.com: http://www.foto-biz.com/usageterms

This guy must be a Kiss fan, he is wearing their hoodie. You can get your own Kiss hoodie from LiveNation's website (the official agent) for $39.95 + bazillions for the shipping and handling.

He uses a Canon Ti2 Rebel with a BigMa handheld. The BigMa is a Sigma 50-500mm f/4-6.3 lens. Sigma has to play tricks to report that the lens has a maximum aperture of 5.6 when at 500mm for the autofocus to work. The big Sigma zooms are extremely popular and sell very well in my area, the West Coast of Canada. Neither Nikon nor Canon compete either in the price range or the variety of the “big zooms.”

He must have bought the lens coat from the the company itself http://www.lenscoat.com. In Canada, very few places carry the lens coats and they only have them for the “big names” and their standard lenses.

For this photo, he is hand holding his combo at the 300mm setting on a very bright and sunny day. The light was so bright that I took this photograph at f/7.1 and 1/640s on a monopod and on my knees with my own Sigma 120-400mm f/4-5.6 OS at 120mm.
