People And Keywording

In my keywording tags, I have the category: People. It's divided in people that I know and people that I don't. So far it makes sense. Either you know the person or you don't.

I do a lot of photos about dogs and street scenes. A vast amount of these photos do not have anybody in them, but I still have them tagged under the category people.

In my category people, the first level is made of:

  1. Nobody
  2. People That I Don't Know
    1. Children
    2. Couples
    3. Female
    4. Groups
    5. Male
  3. People That I Know
    1. Family
      1. Name of family members…
    2. Friends
      1. Name of friends…

Notice that the first entry is: Nobody. I even have a smart collection that tracks the “nobody” photos. It's also easy to make a smart collection of the photos that don't have the “nobody” people keyword entry. Therefore these photos are about somebody.
