How To Correct Misspelled Keywords in Lightroom

You've misspelled a keyword and you have assigned the misspelled keyword to a few hundred photos. It's not the end of the world. Lightroom makes it easy to fix, without have to delete and reenter…

1. Switch to the Develop module, Grid view.
2. Filter » Metadata » Keyword and select the misspelled keyword.
3. Select all the photos Command-A/Ctrl-A.
4. Switch to the Keywording section of the right panel.
5. Highlight the misspelled keyword.
6. Overtype in its corrected name.
7. Press the Return/Enter key. This will remove the misspelled keyword from the photos and add the correctly spelled keyword to all the selected photos.
8. Highlight the misspelled keyword » Right click » Delete.
9. Done!
