Originally, I started doing only "The Business of Being a Photographer". One day, as I "wasted" my time surfing the web, I saw all these people complaining about the speed of Lightroom. I am a heavy Lightroom user and on some fairly slow hardware I am getting decent performance, except during data imports where I need a much faster CPU see: Lightroom: RAM vs. CPU. These people complaining didn't know why their system was so slow, so I replied in emails and decided to write an article Lightroom: Slow As Molasses Or Lightning Fast?. Many, many people linked to it and mentioned it. Even more people came to Foto-Biz.com. So now every second day I write an article on "The Business of Being a Photographer", and every over day I write an article on Lightroom.
