Referrals

Everywhere you read or anybody you talk to always say:

Ask for referrals.

I have had a few referrals from customers, but far my best "referrer" is Ron D.

Ron D. never bought anything from me. Ron D. is an electrician that was on site during one of my shoot. At the end of the shoot, I brought and distributed donuts and muffins to everybody, including Ron. Ron liked how the shoot went and even saw the pictures on my laptop.

Since then, every year, I get one or two good referrals from Ron. I never asked him for a referral, but since then, I have taken him a few times for lunch. I have never given him a commission.

Why

I asked Ron why he keeps referring me jobs.

You were nice and polite to everybody and you did a good job.

These photos were good but not spectacular photos, but being nice and treating people well is what earned me thousands of dollars.
