Inventory

Photography is a service industry, so what's that have to do with inventory? I don't any about everybody else, but I don't resell any accessory or supplies. I am still in the business of managing my inventory, and no I am not talking about photographing your household or business property for insurance purposes.

What's my inventory? Photos, be they digital or print. If I manage my inventory properly, I make a profit. If I don't manage my inventory properly, I lose money. Inventory has to be tracked and found, that why I catalog, use meaningfully filenames and use keywords and track what sells.

How quickly can you produce a list of your photos?
