I stumbled upon this surfing website. It's very different from any other that I've seen. They are trying and it looks like they are succeeding in becoming the MySpace of surfing. It has been up since June 2007. They are a portal for surfing. Photographers, any photographer, can upload their images, videos and any "dude" can order prints, mugs, t-shirts and sweatshirts.

What makes it special is:

1. You can make your own virtual store front.
2. The prints are done by EZPrints.com
3. Eppicsurf charges only 18% commission.
4. Watermarking of the photos.
5. You need to pay for your own storage space: $99 per year, per photographer.
6. You can even use Eppicsurf as a back-end to your own website for print fulfillment.

Eppicsurf does not make surfing photo, they rely on the photographers to do that. Since almost all surfing is on public access land/water, anybody can take surfing photos with a super-duper monster telephoto.

Instead of placing your photos on Flickr, your can place your surfing photos on Eppicsurf and sell photos there.

Will they do the same with other sports? Is there some other website that will provide similar functionality for your specialty?
