Copyright Infringements
I try as hard as possible to not infringe on other people's copyright. When I need to quote somebody extensively I always ask for the permission. On a couple of occasions, I have published other people's photos with their permission, but this is dumb…
This image above is a copyright infringement. I'm infringing!
And this one too! And every single photo that is on my website. They are all a copyright infringement! Why? Because I'm in Canada!
Who's copyright do I infringe? Me and every Canadian photographer infringe the copyright of an organization called: Access Copyright.
Access Copyright is the operating name of a Canadian business corporation whose official registration name is The Canadian Copyright Licensing Agency (formerly Cancopy). This is a not-for-profit copyright collective that collects revenues from licensed Canadian businesses, government, schools, libraries and other copyright users for the photocopying of print works and distributes those monies to the rights holders of those works, such as publishers and authors from Canada and around the world.
Access Copyright covers works published in Australia, Argentina, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, South Africa, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and the United States.

They claim to have trademarked the ©, that's the copyright sign! Yep! How did they do it? I don't know! But something is very wrong!
The claim of non-profit is also debatable! See: Michael Geist
