0% Financing

0% financing in today's world? Yep, you can.

I need to buy expensive lenses, a computer and some new software to make it all legit. We are talking close to ten thousand dollars. I am still in the pricing stage so I don't have the exact amount yet.

The recession is upon me and many others, it's a lot of money. Do I take the plunge or wait for...? I decided to take the plunge and go for it but I don't want to use my own cash. I will receive a large payment in the next 2 month, for work already done.

The banks are taking "preparation H"1, and loans are non-existent. It happens that I have another financial institution that is will be willing to lend me money for free! It's my Visa2 card.

Visa3 issues a monthly bill that covers from the 28th of the month to the 27th of the next month, when they issue the statement. The due date is the 17th of the following month:

  1. So I buy my stuff on October 28th
  2. Visa4 will bill me on November 27th
  3. I will have to pay by December 17th.

That's 7 weeks of interest free loan or 0% for 7 weeks. And yes, I will pay my credit card on time and in full.

  • 0% financing is the type of gymnastic, you need to do to stay in business when there is a recession.
